THE AGAPE SWEATER

Agape is the greek word for 'love'. This new testament term specifically describes God's love, which is a love unlike any other. Agape love is a faithful act of the will. It's sacrificial. It's putting others before yourself, and doing so joyfully. It's the kind of love that characterizes the greatest commandment:

"Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

THE FAITH FACE SWEATER

We are called to trust in God always, and in all ways. Yes, this is a countercultural way to live. But those who have tasted the bread of life know that there is no more liberating and fulfilling way to live. We can rely on God's grace and power, rather than our own strength, knowing that God can work through our weaknesses to accomplish His purposes.

Tithing is a way of trusting God with what He’s given us and supporting the work of the church. It helps fund ministry, care for church leaders, and spread God’s love in our communities. It also helps to remember how you yourself have benefited from church generosity. Jesus Merch also wants to be faithful to this call.
